Explanation: Seats and HANS®

In principle is every FIA-homologated seat suitable for use with a HANS® system. Crucially, the chair correct guidance and positioning of the seat belts allows it to keep the HANS® system in place.

The Large belt loops ensure correct adjustment for drivers of different heights. Newer seat models often also have subtle cutouts (usually only visible at the rear) which increase comfort, so that the HANS® system does not press against the body even with a very upright seating position.
