The TCI® Electric Brake Shut-Off offers one because it allows the driver to electrically shut off the right front caliper to improve handling in dirt circle track racing applications. The easy-to-install solenoid can be mounted directly in the brake line, somewhere between the master cylinder and the caliper. A turn of the switch from inside the car activates the lightweight, 6061-T6 aluminum-encased continuous-duty solenoid.This component blocks fluid flow to the right front caliper, eliminating the usual "push" or "tight" condition experienced when braking in corners. The compact solenoid design allows the TCI® Electric Brake Shut-Off to be mounted discreetly, regardless of your application. The heavy-duty solenoid can handle up to 3,000psi and includes a waterproof seal to handle frequent high-pressure washes. Best of all, the solenoid requires only a single amplifier current, so it won't drain your electrical system.
