VTBO Brackets

Description

The VTBO brackets can be used with the B6 Screamer, B7, B8, B9, B10 and C1 seats. They also fit the side-mount versions of the standard B6 and W seats, but only if made with the additional back frame trim. The bracket has the same shape as the aluminum STBO and has a hole spacing of 29 cm. This is usually standard with race car seat manufacturers, but made with a 2° draw to perfectly fit the sides of Tillett seats. The VTBO bracket system is designed to point away from the chair for a wider footprint. They are made of 3 mm thick powder-coated steel with a black textured finish to make them more resistant to scratches. with an edge profile that helps prevent the leg from protruding above the front attachment point. The brackets allow the chair to be tilted, raised and lowered using the various combinations of holes and slots. Thanks to the lower slots in the horizontal part, they fit the Tillett STRi and PTRI chair adjustment rails with a hole spacing of 315 mm. Please note that we do not recommend using seat adjustment rails in a race car, as they are intended for road use only. The optional aluminum "Pegged spacer kit" can also be used herein to reinforce the front slots in case of an accident.
