The TCI\u00ae Electric Brake Shut-Off offers one because it allows the driver to electrically shut off the right front caliper to improve handling in dirt circle track racing applications. The easy-to-install solenoid can be mounted directly in the brake line, somewhere between the master cylinder and the caliper. A turn of the switch from inside the car activates the lightweight, 6061-T6 aluminum-encased continuous-duty solenoid.This component blocks fluid flow to the right front caliper, eliminating the usual \"push\" or \"tight\" condition experienced when braking in corners. The compact solenoid design allows the TCI\u00ae Electric Brake Shut-Off to be mounted discreetly, regardless of your application. The heavy-duty solenoid can handle up to 3,000psi and includes a waterproof seal to handle frequent high-pressure washes. Best of all, the solenoid requires only a single amplifier current, so it won't drain your electrical system.
